PC Sales Take a Tumble

An IDC report revealed that PC sales fell by 14% worldwide in the first quarter of 2013, the biggest drop since records began in 1994. As many consumers plump for a portable touchscreen device over a laptop, shipments of tablets in the same period rose by 117% compared to last year, hitting an all-time high of 40.6 million units.
